Who We Are

Welcome to The Spot! We are a family and minority-owned rotary hot pot restaurant. Our journey began with a shared love for cooking that has been a cornerstone of our family heritage. When we first immigrated to the United States, we introduced Chicago's Chinatown to its first shabu-shabu and Vietnamese restaurant, blending our culinary traditions with the vibrant local culture.

Although we eventually stepped away from the restaurant industry, our passion for cooking never faded. For us, cooking is more than just preparing meals; it’s our family love language, a way to connect and express our care for one another. 

Now, we're excited to bring that same spirit of culinary creativity and family warmth to Skokie with our new hot pot restaurant.
